Gilston Park is a strategic 65ha (161 acre) greenfield site located immediately to the South-West of Jct 4 of the M9 motorway and 14 miles West of Edinburgh.

Outline planning consent was obtained comprising:-

  • 50,167 sq m of Class 4 and 5 (540,000 sq ft).
  • 20,000 sq m of Class 6 (215,000 sq ft)
  • 100 Bed Hotel / Conference
  • Residential (150 units)
  • Vehicle Sale / Distribution Facility
  • Garden Centre
  • Sports and Fitness Centre
  • Neighbourhood Centre

Early development activities are being focused on providing access to the site from the M9, the provision of site road and service infrastructure, drainage, site remediation and plateau levelling / cut and fill operations.

Later phases will concentrate on the delivery of certain commercial aspects of the scheme (to satisfy planning conditions) and the creation of developable and serviced land parcels to third party developers.
