A joint venture between Pilot Properties, Ashtenne Plc and LCDL.

Ribble Valley Enterprise Park lies on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering a quality of life that is second to none.

The client was particularly keen to capture and retain this unique setting during the master-planning and detailed design stages, with a specific emphasis on quality and "setting a standard that others would want to follow".

The master-plan for the site incorporates woodland and lakeside walks among which bespoke designed buildings offer companies the opportunity to develop strong corporate identities in a discreet rural setting.

Early activities focused on the remediation of the brown field element of the site, together with the provision of the new main spine road and service infrastructure into the site.

First stages of the development of the park concentrated around the lake area, which included the Printworks, (with a range of management office suites), restaurant, service station, and hotel and conference facilities.  

The site attracted both ERDF Objective 5b and English Partnership funding assistance.
